Horses in a Pasture.
Unsigned, identified on a handwritten note on the reverse.
Oil on plywood panel, 40 x 38 in., in a flat gray-painted frame.
Condition: Craquelure, abrasions, retouch.

Provenance: Formerly in the collection of sculptor Robert Laurent (1890-1970); from the collection of Alvin and Annie Schlesinger.

Note: Stefan Hirsch exhibited at Downtown Gallery in 1929 and 1932.
