Bond & Son, Boston, No. 556," roman numerals, up/down indicator and seconds dial below, gilt spade hour hands, blued-steel seconds, screw-fit glazed bezel, brass gimbal and bowl, chain drive fusee movement with maintaining power, two-arm split bimetallic balance, helical hairspring, and spring detent escapement, in a three-tier, brass-bound, rosewood box with brass carrying handles and mother-of pearl plaque, ht. 7 1/2 in.
