Elliott Brothers Brass Longitude/Latitude Chart Reading Instrument, London, the 9 1/4-in. square damascened plate with inset polished brass arc scale for longitude corresponding to latitude in miles, recording arm pivoting from upper corner with aperture window, and engraved scale, parallel rule with beveled edge silvered scale riding the outer edges, housed in a fitted mahogany box with the "A. Lietz & Co." retailer paper label on the inside of lid.
