Four Japanese Compass Instruments, 19th century, a pewter instrument with compass, hemispherical sundial, clock dial with revolving disc, and signs of zodiac, ink pad, brush, and ruler housed in the handle; a pocket bone sundial housed in a case with silk fringe; a 3-in. dia. hardwood disc with paper compass card; a repousse hinged brass case housing a compass and sundial; and a miniature rectangular case with sundial, and compass.
