Veneered Time, Strike, and Alarm Carriage Clock, France, c. 1880, wood case with book-matched veneer, brass and beveled glass front door, and brass carrying handle on top, enamel roman numeral dial with subsidiary alarm dial and opening to view vertically mounted balance wheel, eight-day time, countwheel strike, and alarm movement with cylinder escapement, ht. with handle extended 8 in.
