Kearny Cross, Phil Kearny Division Medal, Carte-de-visite of General Kearny, and a Connecticut Defense of Washington Medal, c. mid to late 19th century, cross with silver banners, marked on the obverse "KEARNY CROSS," and on the reverse "BIRNEY'S DIVISION"; a bronze third Corps badge marked "PHIL KEARNY DIVISION/A.P." with an image of Kearny; a carte-de-visite of Kearny in uniform (clipped lower corners); and a Connecticut medal marked on the banner "CONNECTICUT MINUTEMEN/APRIL-1861," with a blue and gold ribbon, with a circle of laurels and crossed muskets, marked to the first, second, and third Connecticut Volunteers, marked on the reverse "616/THE/STATE/of/CONNECTICUT/TO THE/MEMBERS OF THE/1st 2nd AND 3rd VOLUNTEER REGIMENTS/WHO ENLISTED IN THE UNITED STATES SERVICE/IN RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT LINCOLN'S FIRST/CALL FOR TROOPS, FOR/THE DEFENSE/OF/WASHINGTON/APRIL/1861."
