U.S. Model 1864 Cartridge Box and Cap Pouch, c. 1864-65, 1864 cartridge box with an embossed "US" on the outer flap, tin inserts, maker-marked on the back "S.H. YOUNG/& CO/NEWARK/N.J.," and a cap box with the vent wire and no wool.

Leather has some flaking but in overall good condition, no Lambs wool left in the cap box.
