Pattern 1889 German Navy Officer's Sword, late 19th century, lion head pommel with brass wire-wrapped bone grip, folding guards with anchor motif, etched blade, leather scabbard with brass mounts, sword knot, (oxidation on blade), lg. 38 1/4 in.
