Christ Appearing to the Magdalene from the Series Fall and Redemption of Man, c. 1515 (Bartsch, 36). Monogrammed "AA" (overlapping) in the block u.l. Woodcut on paper, 2 13/16 x 1 7/8 in. (7.3 x 4.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Trimmed to the edges of the image, not examined out of frame.

Provenance, as inscribed on the frame backing: "From Richard G. Canott Estate, to W.H. Boardman, Jr. (9/91)."

A fine impression. The sheet appears to the affixed to the back mat at the upper corners. Frame with broken glass (missing u.r. corner of the glass).

The inscription on the frame backing bears a misattribution to Durer.
