Ball, Black & Co. Sterling Silver Compote, New York, c. 1860, attributed to John Wendt, monogrammed, with two lion head handles, die-cast borders to shoulder, and foot rim, ht. 6 3/4 in., approx. 26.1 troy oz.
Foot joint pushed into body slightly (still sits well, halo of joint visible on inside of bowl). Small dent to one scrolled element. Otherwise with light usage wear.
