Condition: Puncture measuring 2 x 2 inches to center of canvas with resulting paint losses around the tear, pinhole to l.l. quadrant.
Provenance: International Galleries, Chicago, through to the current owner by family descent.

Frame with a label from International Galleries, Chicago, Illinois, affixed to the reverse. Framed dimensions are 31 1/2 x 27 1/2 in.
Puncture was from behind, leaving canvas pushed to the front of the painting, with frayed edges to the perimeter of the tear. Pinhole is located on the left side, between the lamp post near the kiosks and the carriage, above the figure of the lady in the white blouse.
