Condition: Small abrasion with paint loss l.l., minor surface grime.

N.B. An inscription on the reverse indicates that this work was included in an exhibition of Chicago artists in 1911. A painting by Grover with the title Coming In, Venice was included as number 121 in the Fifteenth Exhibition of Works by Chicago Artists at the Art Institute of Chicago, January 31-February 26, 1911; however, because that work was not illustrated, its specific identity could not be confirmed.
