Provenance: Purchased from Marine Arts Gallery, Salem, Massachusetts, July 10, 1980 (copy of receipt accompanies the lot); to the estate of Richard L. Elia, Winchester, Massachusetts.

The crease/tear is vertical and measures about 1-1/4 in. Major toning to the paperboard support, with the toning extending just slightly over the corners of the watercolor.
The frame measures 23 x 29 3/4 in. Silk covered mat.
