Mocha Creamware Slip-decorated Quart Mug, England, early 19th century, straight-sided, the body covered with red/orange slip then cut through to expose white body creating a ribbed appearance, bordered with alternating red and orange slip with dark brown outer band, applied strap handle, ht. 5 1/2 in.

Few small chips on inside of rim, minor spalling to spots of glaze inside cup, small "Y" shaped cracks on the bottom, but not visible inside.
