Red-painted Carved Cherry High Chest of Drawers, Elijah Booth, Woodbury, Connecticut, mid-18th century, the nine-drawer upper section with flat molded cornice above deeply fan-carved central drawer, set into four-drawer lower section centering a similarly fan-carved drawer, shaped skirt with drop pendants joining cabriole legs with C-scroll knees ending in pad feet on tall platforms, mostly original brasses, old surface, (minor imperfections),ht. 79 1/4, lower case wd. 39 1/4, lower case dp. 20 1/4 in.
