Three-piece Meiji Period Silver Tea Service, Japan, late 19th/early 20th century, teapot and covered sugar bearing jungin silver mark and additional maker's mark, creamer unmarked, each embossed and chased in high relief with dragons, teapot, covered sugar, and creamer, teapot ht. to handle 9 1/4 in., approx. 58.0 troy oz.

Teapot with dragon head finial bent slightly, dragon head spout with loss to one back horn. Creamer also with loss to one back horn to dragon's head on handle. Covered sugar bowl with loss to tip of dragon's whisker to finial. Each otherwise in good overall condition with slight surface wear, minor nicks to protruded elements.
