Twelve French Porcelain Dinner Plates, 19th century, each of white ground with gilded banding and centralized monogram with "N" surmounted by a crown, some plates bearing impressed marks for a crown and shield, dia. 9 1/4 in.
Note: A service bearing similar motif was made for Napoleon III by Sevres.

One with hairline. Each have overall some age-typical surface wear including rubbing to gilding, some scuffs on rims, gilding, wear to foot.
