After Claude Michel Clodion (French, 1738-1814) Bronze Figure of the Abduction of Persephone, realistically modeled figures in partial drapery, on a square plinth, unsigned, ht. 16 in.
The figure has been depatinated, lacquered and previously electrified. The lacquer is brassy/shiny and shows wear, the back of the base has drill holes to accommodate electrification and the underside of the base has been covered.
