George II Mahogany Card Table, England, mid-18th century, double-foldover top with rounded candlestick corners, table can be used either with plain surface or baize-inlaid foldout interior with four wells, faux drawer-front frieze, side with hidden swing-out compartment for game pieces, gate-leg with hinged support pop up panel, resting on soft cabriole legs with pad feet, closed ht. 29 1/8, wd. 33, dp. 16, baize open ht. 27 3/4, wd. 33, dp. 32 in.

Has been refinished. Age-typical wear overall including scuffs and abrasions to top with arched-shaped rubbed mark some cloudy spots and heat marks, newer baize, gapping between tops and base, frieze with patches near edge, though scuffs, nicks and overall wear appropriate with age and use.
