William and Mary-style Gate-leg Table, England, 18th century, yew, deal, and oak, with oval top and drop leaves over a plain apron with single drawer, resting on turned baluster-form supports and swing-out gates, with low stretchers and terminating in turned feet, ht. 29, wd. 49, dp. 41, closed wd. 17 in.
Provenance: Proceeds from the sale of the collections will be used by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia, exclusively for the acquisition of art and antiques to be exhibited in its art museums and historic buildings.
