Goyard Steamer Trunk, France, early 20th century, chevron canvas and brass-bound exterior with metal pulls on each side and inscribed "H.T." on one side, "H. TWEE(indistinct)" in white letters on the other, white label "E. Goyard Aine/No. (indistinct)" to interior lid, ht. 13 1/2, wd. 39 1/2, dp. 21 1/2 in.

Upper corner to back right side of lid and case with break and losses to canvas, wood structure and loss to bracket (see images). Some hardware replaced, some also rusted. Age typical wear, including water staining and losses to interior (lacking interior shelf),loss to leather strap on backside, abrasions and losses (particularly to back edge) to canvas, small dents, nicks, etc. to hardware and wood strapping.
