Flower. Signed "baskin" in pencil beneath the image l.r., signed and dated "BASKIN/ 1970" in the plate l.l., identified on an exhibition label from the Museum of Fine Arts, Springfield, Massachusetts (see below),affixed to the frame backing paper. Etching on paper, 17 5/8 x 11 7/8 in., framed. Condition: Toning, not examined out of frame.

This work is not illustrated in Fern and O'Sullivan, but there is a group of flower etchings recorded as items 578-584, of the exact same plate size, also dating from 1970.
