Michael Bergt (American, b. 1956)
Family Man. Signed and numbered "M.Bergt/1/15" l.r., beneath the figure's left knee. Bronze low relief wall sculpture with faux stone patina, 17 1/2 x 8 x 3 1/4 in. Condition: Areas of wear to patina.
N.B. The bronze at hand was created in 1991, cast by the artist from a mold made from a polychrome decorated basswood piece titled Against the Wall. Five examples were cast, out of the edition of 15. We would like to thank Michael Bergt for his assistance identifying this piece.

The patina shows wear on the figure's hair, nose, brow, knuckles, and elbows.
