First edition, octavo, lacking the final two leaves, Aa2 and Aa3, bound in full contemporary sheepskin over scabbard, contents somewhat water stained, with some damage, a page or two torn with loss, 5 7/8 x 3 3/4 in. "Of special interest because it expresses an idea which we now associate with the extreme Puritan mind in its most forbidding aspect." (Goodspeed's Catalogue, 1940) No copies of this title have appeared at auction since 1915.
