Two folio volumes bound as one; the second title illustrated (with some woodcuts hand-colored); bound in full contemporary blind-tooled alum-tawed pigskin over wooden boards, lacking clasps, 12 x 7 1/2 in.
Ulrich von Richenthal wrote an exact and careful account of the Ecumenical Council of Constance in the German dialect of Konstanz. This chronicle is preserved in several manuscripts, and was printed in 1536. The work also contains coats-of-arms and other illustrations.
