First edition, limited, unnumbered, text volume only, disbound, illustrated with seventy-eight photogravures (six hand-colored) printed on Holland Van Gelder paper after Curtis's photographs of the Teton Sioux, Yanktonai, and Assiniboine, disbound, never properly bound, housed in a custom box, 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.
