Persian manuscript on paper, small quarto format, 132 leaves, 15 lines per page, text written in nasta'liq script in black ink, diacritical marks and the occasional word in red, some marginal notes, the text divided into three distinct sections, astronomical, arithmetical, and other charts and illustrations in the text, six-leaf index in red, black and green ink bound at the end; bound in later limp red morocco, some marginal material trimmed, 6 1/8 x 3 7/8 in.
