Manuscript of Helias for publication in The Saint James's Magazine, April to July, Vol. I, London: Kent, 1861, this work begins on page 23; this copy used by the publisher for printing, with sections of the text labeled with page numbers in pencil, one page with each line crossed out, the leaves held together with a ribbon; toned, old folds, thumbed, 13 1/2 x 8 1/4 in.
