Frame with a label from E. Remy, Chelsea (London) on the reverse.
Handwritten label on the reverse is very faded, although it mentions an "A. Jonniaux" which may refer to Alfred Jonniaux (Danish, 1882-1974) and seems to reference a portrait of a woman, which may have occupied this frame at one time.
The stretcher is further inscribed "Williams/1972/Savannah" in pencil.
