19th Century Mahogany Brass-bound Traveling Apothecary Chest, T. Spencer, Pharmaceutical Chemist, Workingham, United Kingdom, velvet-lined chest with hinged lid opening to reveal sixteen various size colorless glass bottles, fitted lower drawer with lift-out tray containing a balance scale and weights, seven colorless glass bottles, and two tin containers marked Pills, and Plaster, two sliding tray tops opening to the fitted compartment holding the glass mortar, pestle, and measuring jars, case with brass-inset carrying and drawer handles, ht. 10, wd. 11 1/2, dp. 8 1/4 in.
