Brass and Steel Horological Wheel-cutting Engine, marked Thos. Green/Liverpool/No. 136, c. 1795, the brass frame on four pointed legs supports the 10-in. dia. index plate with divisions 144-51, signed by maker as above and with division chart, index arm, upper moveable cutter frame with saw cutter, hand crank, and clamp for wheel blank, iron butterfly thumb screws throughout to tighten components, ht. 13, wd. 11, dp. 11 1/2 in.
