J. Smith and Sons Brass Scroll-plate Fusee Skeleton Clock, London, c. 1850, silvered roman numeral and scrolled chapter ring inscribed J. Smith & Sons/London, blued-steel spade hour hand and steel pointer minute hand, scrolled plates with cathedral-shaped wheel-train section and gothic spire top, chain fusee time-only movement with recoil escapement and rear-hung pendulum, solid mahogany pedestal with boxwood line inlay all under a glass shade, ht. 15 1/2 in.

Pedestal probably a replacement, movement in cleaned and overhauled condition, glass shade had multiple cracks in the back.
