Raphael Soyer (American, 1899-1987)

Two Framed Lithographs: Gorky and Self-Portrait with Studies. Gorky signed "Raphael Soyer" in pencil l.r., numbered "41/150" l.l.; Self-Portrait signed "RAPHAEL SOYER" in the matrix l.l., pencil signed or inscribed "...Raphael Soyer" l.l., both identified on labels from Thronja Gallery, Longmeadow, Massachusetts, affixed to the frame backings. Condition: Gorky with mat burn, Self-Portrait with toning and slightly slipped in its mat so that the signature is not fully visible, not examined out of frames.
