Modernist Lakeshore View in Summer. Unsigned, with a label from Gil Golde Studio, Great Neck, New York, on the frame backing paper. Gouache on paper, sight size 8 x 12 3/8 in., framed. Condition: Framed directly against the glass, not examined out of frame.
N.B. Gil Golde was a painter, sculptor, and photographer who trained at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League. From the mid-1940s to the mid-1970s, he operated a store in Great Neck, Long Island, focusing on custom framing, art supplies, and the sale of original art, his own and that of other artists.
