Clearing Storm #1. Signed "Stanley Woodward, A.W.S" l.r., identified on labels from Doll & Richards, Inc., Boston, and from the American Watercolor Society (see below),affixed to the frame backing paper. Watercolor on paper/board, sight size 21 x 29 in., framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame.

N.B. The sale of this lot will benefit the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts. The label on the frame backing paper suggests that this work was included in the American Watercolor Society Eighty-Eighth Annual Exhibition, National Academy Galleries, New York, 1955.
Estimate $300-500

With a gummed label from the Worcester Art Museum bearing the number 501.81 and a printed biography of the artist also on the frame backing paper.
