Ruins of the Ministry of Finance, Paris Commune, 1871. Stamped "Achille Quinet" in red ink on the mount l.r., numbered "29" in the negative l.r. Albumen silver print mounted to paper, image/sheet size 7 5/8 x 9 3/4 in., matted, unframed. Condition: Faded, foxing and discoloration on the mount.

Provenance: Property from the collection of Harvey Shipley Miller, proceeds to benefit the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
