Mario Joseph Korbel (American, 1882-1954)

Standing Female Nude. Inscribed, signed, and dated "MARIO KORBEL/1929 © No 11/R.B.W. N.Y." in the bronze along the bottom edges, with a label from Graham Gallery, New York, taped to the underside of the plinth. Bronze with silver patina, height 5 1/2 in., on a stone plinth. Condition: Wear and discoloration to patina, dust and dirt to interstices.

Height of plinth is 3 inches. Plinth is marked "#9..." but the inscription is mostly hidden by the Graham Gallery label. The plinth also shows dirt and surface markings.
