George III Sterling Silver-gilt Seal (Skippet) Box, London, 1801-02, Peter, Ann & William Bateman, maker, oval box engraved to the lid with the coat of arms of the city of Oxford encircled by a floral garland, with pressed paper and ribbon seal or arms to interior, lg. 3 3/4 in., approx. 2.3 troy oz., together with original handwritten presentation of bailiff duties for John Atkins Wright who served as bailiff for the city of Oxford from 1802-07.
