Monumental Bronze Figural Mantel Clock on Giltwood Base, 19th/20th century, a gilded figural group after the monument Heart of Henry II by Germain Pilon, inscribed "F. BARBEDIENNE. FONDEUR.," with stamped mark "REDUCTION MECHANIQUE" on plinth, set atop a conforming tripartite gilt-bronze clock with roman numeral dial, case with carved putti and foliate scrolls, mechanism unmarked, on a later carved pedestal decorated with plumed C-scrolls and cartouches, ht. 86 in.

Later pedestal. Some rubbing and signs of age-typical wear to surfaces including minor nicks and abrasions, rubbing to surfaces. Some verdigris, probably polish, and remnants of polish/surface grime primarily in crevasses. Clock not guaranteed to be in working order. See photos.
