German .800 Silver Pineapple Cup and Cover, probably Hanau, late 19th century, lacking maker's mark, the cover with an urn-form finial surmounted with a floral spray, the cup raised on a faux-bois and figural stem, ht. 13 1/2 in., approx. 18.0 troy oz.

Flower and leaf elements to finial bent slightly. Loss to one grape or leaf element to figure's staff. Otherwise with only a few minor pinprick dents and a slight loss to gilding in areas (particularly foot).
