Daoist Buddhist Painting, China or Japan, depicting a heavenly scene in color above an ink landscape, a Buddha figure seated on a lotus throne behind an offering table below a flowing canopy flanked by two heavenly devas descending, surrounded by female offerers with bare feet, the Four Heavenly Kings, the Eighteen Luohans, Daoist immortals, and Buddhist protectors and lama figures, all enshrouded in clouds against the sky adorned with a white parrot, humanoid birds, and floral branches, ink and color on cotton, gilt details, framed and glazed, painting 36 1/4 x 24 7/8 in.
