Imperial Kesi Throne Cover, China, 18th/19th century, woven with a Buddhist canopy suspending roundels containing shou symbols, surrounded by symbols of the heavens and earth and pairs of dragons chasing pearls, with many of the "Eight Buddhist Treasures" depicted hanging pendant at either side, all on a navy blue ground, stretch-mounted and covered with Plexiglas, 37 1/2 x 30 1/4 in.
