Four Delft Polychrome Chargers, 18th century, with red, green, and blue polychrome decoration comprised of a central blossom surrounded by foliate and floral designs, (imperfections),dia. to 13 1/2 in.
Note: This pattern is referred to as "Peasant Delft" in a major delft reference volume, Fourest's Delftware. An example exactly like those in the present lot is shown there, and listed as being from the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, (plate 149).
