Nine-piece Coin Silver Tea and Coffee Service, Philadelphia, c. 1850, Taylor & Lawrie, maker (except hot milk pot: George Sharp, maker),Bailey & Co./Bailey & Kitchen, retailer, each baluster form with a repousse scene of a farmhouse around a monogrammed rocaille cartouche, kettle-on-stand with burner, coffeepot, teapot, hot milk pot, waste bowl, creamer, covered sugar bowl, and two salt cellars, kettle-on-stand ht. 20 1/4, approx. 335.5 troy oz.; sold with two silver-plate trays, lg. to 31 in.

Tea set in good overall condition with only light surface wear, some minor pin-prick dents. Salt cellars with spots of silver rot to interior. Trays with wear to silver surface, copper showing through, abrasions throughout.
