Description:

Fabergé .916 Silver and Guilloché Enamel Two-sided Frame, Moscow, 1908-17, Karl (Hjalmar) Armfeldt, workmaster, scratched inventory number "17144," one side in pale blue enamel and the other deep blue, ht. 4 1/4 in.
Estimate $3,000-5,000

No evidence of chipped losses or over-painting to enamel with only very minor wear along where lower edge slides out from base and a very minor pinprick flake to lower right corner of pale blue enamel (unobtrusive, flake to uppermost surface not affecting enamel). Upper silver edge with a few very minor nicks. Most likely gold-washed originally with little remaining. Glass loose in frame.
