Oil on panel, the subject in a blue coat and white cravat, 26 1/2 x 21 in., in a gilt-gesso frame.
Condition: Retouch, including in spots and small areas throughout face.
Provenance: Gift of the Art Institute of Chicago; Property of the Fenimore Art Museum, sold to benefit the Acquisitions Fund.
