Three Staffordshire Transfer-decorated Pink Lusterware Presentation Pitchers, England, c. second quarter 19th century, the largest "A View of the Iron Bridge at Sunderland," with three sailing ships, a verse, and marked "Iohn & Frances Winkworth," ht. 10 7/8; the second with sailing ship and phrase "May Peace & Plenty/On Our Nation Smile/Bless the British Isle," and marked "Jesse Hedger/A New Years Gift,/From his Father & Mother./1851," ht. 9 1/4; the third "A View of the Iron Bridge at Sunderland," with a verse and marked "Bridget Carroll/Leeds Octr 17th/1839," ht. 7 1/8 in.
