Two Tin-glazed Earthenware Plates, England, mid-18th century, probably London, each polychrome enamel decorated, one with sunburst border to a paneled lotus design with daisy flowers surrounding a central daisy flower, dia. 8 7/8; and another with paneled lotus design with long stemmed flowers surrounding a similar center motif, dia. 11 3/4 in.

Sunburst: Numerous areas of glaze loss and chipping to rim; scattered craze lines to glaze.
Long stemmed: Glaze loss surrounding rimand with several sizable rim chips (most poorly filled in); 5" rim hairline and a "tight" 1 1/4" hairline.
