Audubon, John James (1785-1851) White-headed Eagle, Plate 31. [from] The Birds of America. London: Havell & Son, 1828. Elephant folio engraving with etching, aquatint and hand-coloring, variant I, printed on J. Whatman Turkey Mill paper, some closed tears along top (originally the gutter) margin, finger thumbing and marginal stains, pinks and yellows faded; matted and framed, 38 1/4 x 25 in.
