Stork, William (f. 1751-d. 1768) A Description of East Florida, with a Journal Kept by John Bartram of Philadelphia, Botanist to His Majesty for the Floridas. London: Nicoll & Jefferys, 1769. Third, expanded edition, large quarto, illustrated with large engraved folding map of Florida and two folding plans, one of urban St. Augustine, the other of the Bay of Espiritu Santo, in East Florida; bound in half leather, rebacked, marbled paper boards; folding frontispiece map trimmed with loss of about an inch along the bottom edge, comprising the text at the bottom of the cartouche, some empty ocean, and the neatlines, Florida itself is not trimmed with loss, some fold separations of the frontispiece map repaired, others not, 10 1/4 x 8 in.
